Created in my Denver studio and covered in prayer from the first brushstroke to the last, these works are not simply paintings. They are acts of worship. Alabanza — the Spanish word for praise — is both the name and the heartbeat of this series, rendered in layers of acrylic, ink, and metallic paint that catch light the way the sacred catches the soul.
