Movement. light and texture are used in this painting to create a snapshot of time, both fleeting and settling - a moving luminal point where the known and the new exist. A flock of white doves ascending into a gray sky call us to ponder the essence of peace. An essence that settles our soul enough to rest for a minute, Shalom. The prayer over this painting is for Peace that passes our human understanding and logic and goes directly to our souls.
